As a Full Stack Engineer, you’ll play a central role in designing and developing Libra’s core product. You’ll implement features end-to-end — from backend services to frontend interfaces — helping lawyers across Europe work smarter with AI.

You’ll join a lean, high-performing engineering team where every line of code matters. This is a hands-on role with high ownership: you’ll work directly on production systems, collaborate closely with our Product and Legal Engineering teams, and help shape how AI is integrated into legal workflows.

• Implement and maintain end-to-end product features across the stack — from backend logic to frontend UX.
• Build scalable APIs and microservices using Python (FastAPI, async).
• Contribute to frontend development in TypeScript (experience with Svelte is a plus).
• Ensure code quality, performance, and reliability through engineering and security best practices.
• Collaborate with Product and Legal Engineering to turn user feedback into technical improvements.
• Explore and integrate AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code) to accelerate development.
• Help shape Libra’s engineering culture — balancing speed, simplicity, and long-term scalability.

• Solid experience as a Full Stack Engineer, comfortable working across backend and frontend.
• Strong proficiency in Python (FastAPI, async) and TypeScript; experience with Svelte is a plus.
• Deep understanding of software engineering and security best practices.
• Familiarity with AI developer tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, etc.).
• Bonus: experience building LLM-powered or AI-integrated products.
• Excellent communication skills in English; German fluency is a plus.
• Based in Berlin or willing to work on-site at the Merantix AI Campus.
